“iya” is derived from a word in an African language meaning, “mother or nurturer.”
Our story begins over 20 years ago with two childhood friends… Anu & Bola. The sister friends turned moms have ventured on a path to achieve their dreams of serving others and solving a practical problem. While pregnant with twin boys in January 2018, and realizing the need for tons of baby clothing, Anu encountered challenges in finding bundled items greater than the usual 2-4 item packs currently on the market. Purchasing multiples of these small packs at times meant additional cost, frustration of searching for same size, and colors to obtain the desired quantity. After all, who wants to run out of clothes mid-week or run more laundry loads than necessary with hands already full? Thus, iiyabox was conceptualized to address the struggle of finding affordable basic baby essentials in bulk quantity. We offer the convenience of online shopping and can help grow with your child.
iiyabox wants to make life simple one parent at a time! As moms ourselves, we appreciate any opportunity to make our lives just a little easier. With the support of our wonderful husbands and children, we embarked on the journey to serve parents fall of 2018.

Friends for over 20 years, we met at church as teenagers, have the same alma mata (Texas A&M University – Gig ‘em Aggies) and both enjoy spending quality time with our families and loved ones.
Anu is a mom to three handsome little boys under the age of 3 (a set of twins and a toddler), pursuing her PhD during the daytime.
Bola is a mom to two beautiful little girls ages 3 and 5, working daytime in controls.
